Tethered, Thankful, Intentioned, Empowered

In this season of His Story we are navigating transition and shifting. Four words are being highlighted by Holy Spirit in the NOW: tethered, thankful, intentioned, empowered. Recently, while in the midst of worship, I clearly heard the following:

Tether my ears to hear Your voice.
Tether my eyes to see Your face.
Tether my heart to know Your heart and Your will.

Tethered

A tether is a line to which someone or something is attached (as for security). If we are tethered to seeing, hearing, thinking, speaking, feeling, and moving as Holy Spirit leads us, deeper into our Father’s eyes, ears, and heart, we become unaffected by the the storms in the natural realm raging all around us: relationships, finances, physical/emotional/mental/spiritual health, identity, purpose, and on and on…

Being tethered to our Lord and beholding Him are paramount in this hour. It’s the only way we will keep our frequencies high and healthy. The moment we take our eyes, ears, minds, hearts off of Him, the kingdom of darkness comes in like a flood. Being tethered to Holy Spirit enables Him to raise up a standard against all that is raging before and around us.

Thankful

The longer I walk with Jesus, the more deeply humbled and grateful I am that my Heavenly Father sees me through the finished work of His Son, and NOT through my own eyes nor the eyes of man. The words to Jesus Lover of My Soul by Hillsongs express it best:

Thanksgiving is a perfect time to reflect on the goodness of our Heavenly. It’s a perfect time to be abundantly thankful for His abundant mercy, grace, forgiveness, love, provision, and all that He has reconciled on our behalf through Jesus, our King and Lord. It’s a perfect time to let go of whatever entangles us, i.e. grief, sadness, loss, woundedness, offense, divisive lenses, etc.. It’s a perfect time to let go of being tethered to all that is past, and focus with thanksgiving for being tethered to the One who loves us best and reconciled it all.

Intentioned

I recently attended an international sound and healing conference where frequencies specific to holistic health, wellness, and healing were majorly discussed. Highlighted and emphasized was the fact that everything is frequencies. There are thousands of frequencies being researched and scientifically tested specific to health and wellness, with thousands yet to be tested. It was also highlighted and emphasized that although specific frequencies and tunings are very important, even more important is the intention of the vessel releasing the frequencies. The source of the frequencies and their intention is of utmost importance in all of it.

I have been led by Holy Spirit and intentioned from the onset of my calling as a vessel of renewing the body through sound, for listeners, clients, and those who seek me out for ministry, to encounter Holy Spirit’s Presence first and foremost, above all else. His Presence is where everything we need for life, wholeness and abundance is found, i.e. joy, healing, peace, fellowship, love, comfort, etc.. Jesus alone will always be the solution for each of this life’s issues. However, our Father is seeking Spirit and Truth worshipers; those who desire and delight in Him above all else (not for needs alone, even though He absolutely cares about each and every one). My intention in all of my holistic frequency infused Holy Spirit inspired instrumental pieces is to be His vessel of connecting others to encounter Him, His Presence, and all that He is on their behalf.

Empowered

In this season I am sensing a calling to go where He sends me, specifically to the lonely, the elderly, the sick, the grieving, the hurting, the broken, etc.. Not surprisingly, as it’s the mandate Jesus walked out (Isaiah 61). It’s also the mandate Jesus commanded and commissioned each of His disciples in the Gospels (Matthew 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15-18). We have been empowered in, by, and through the finished work of Christ to BE the Kingdom He desires to manifest on Earth as it is in Heaven. As sons and daughters of the Most High for such a time as this, we are to followed Holy Spirit’s leading wherever He sends us, fully empowered to connect Heaven on Earth on behalf of those who are seeking.

For me, this means going out to nursing homes, elderly care facilities, hospices, hospitals, online, and wherever I am invited out in the marketplace on behalf of the broken, the lonely, the needy, the elderly, the grieving, and the sick. I am empowered through Christ to walk in David’s mantle of dispelling the tormenting spirits. I have walked out becoming His overcomer through many trials and tribulations that have produced His fruits of love, mercy, compassion, gentleness, meekness, and the fruits of Holy Spirit that release all that He is for each of those in need.

Set the Captives Free

I am expectant as this year comes to a close with a new one on the horizon. My November album release, Set The Captives Free, is an assignment conceived in the Spirit on behalf of myself, as much as for each individual He leads to listen and encounter His freedom. It supernaturally encompasses being tethered, thankful, intentioned, and empowered to, for, by, over, and through His Spirit, all to His glory. We are all being transformed from glory to glory. Set The Captives Free was released to manifest His Scriptural truths as we navigate His Kingdom in the NOW.

This particular swing is a sensory swing intended to be hoglike for calming. I believe it’s the perfect depiction of our Heavenly Father in the power of Holy Spirit because of the finished work of Jesus securely wrapping us in His Presence in every moment of every NOW need…every time we draw near (tether ourselves thankfully and intentionally) to Him. It’s only in that place that we are truly empowered.
