Our youngest experienced kidney failure and a transplant at the age of 15. As the primary caregiver, I felt led to utilize my music background (*see below) in conjunction with Sound Healing Therapy certifications (*see below) to provide holistic alternatives for individuals and families navigating medical journeys. Health impacts not only the physical body, but the time, finances, mind, soul, and spirit of both the individual on the journey and their families. Sound Expressions Sound and Healing Therapy and Music Projects purposes to release both the frequencies and the intentions of restoration, i.e., renewing the body through sound.
Tammy Sorenson is a Psalmist, seer, presence pioneer, sound healing therapist, songwriter, integrated life process practitioner, teacher, piano/keyboard worship instructor, speaker, essential oils coach, and author. As a special ops Kingdom force, Tammy (palm tree) shares her portion of Holy Spirit light and her key of skilled Spirit-led music as a vessel to awaken, activate, and release freedom and restoration through the blood atonement of Jesus Christ to those caught in bondage (Isaiah 61). Playing skillfully unto the Lord (Psalm 33:3), she follows the Word, “Come up higher…” to see, hear, feel, taste, and touch the heartbeat of Heaven’s atmosphere (Jeremiah 33:3; Revelation 4:1), as she prays, “Here I am, send me” (Isaiah 6:8). As Tammy connects with the song Heavenly Father is singing over each individual (Zephaniah 3:17), EASE is released into the DIS-EASE through the power of His healing Presence.
Tammy Sorenson of Sound Expressions, The Arts Expressed, and formerly Jaran Family Ministries has been involved in music since elementary school. She has a *B.A. in Piano Performance, a *B.S. in Vocal Music Education, an *M.A. in Music Education, a *Doctorate in Practical Theology, is licensed and ordained by the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies, is a Certified *Sound and Healing Therapist and Certified *VoiceBio Sound and Healing Therapist, a Certified *Integrated Bioenergetic Restoration Therapy Practitioner, a Certified *Aleph-Tav Body Touch Therapy Practitioner, a Certified *Vibrational Sound Coach), a Certified *Sound Therapist for Neurodivergent Kids, a Certified Christian Counselor, a Certified *Essential Oils Coach, a Licensed *Spiritual Health Coach, and Commissioned by Glory of Zion Kingdom Harvest Alliance.
Jaran Family Ministries ministered at family camps, conferences, seminars, prayer and worship gatherings, and women’s retreats. Sorenson has been involved in local church leadership, beginning in worship ministry leadership at age eleven, and serving the last 40+ years with her husband, Kevan. She taught in the public school as a music educator for nearly 10 years and has taught private music instruction for 40+ years. Tammy has also served in children’s and family ministry leadership 40 years and House of Prayer ministry 20+ years. She is a pianist, psalmist, seer, singer, sound and healing therapist, songwriter, vibrational sound coach, integrative bioenergetic restoration therapy practitioner, Aleph-Tav Body Touch Therapy practitioner, teacher, speaker, essential oils coach, and author.

*To influential instructors all along the way in various certifications including Orff-Kodaly, i.e. Jane Frazee, Arvida Steen, Suzuki Piano instructors like Nahama Patkin to Dr. Charles Furman at the U of M who oversaw my Master’s thesis and development in music therapy and Dr. Bella Krantz who over saw my development in curriculum writing for the gifted and talented…
