A Shift in Focus and Releasing Gifts and Skills

(Note: This post has everything to do with Sound and Healing Therapy, because when musicians, artists, etc. yield our spirits and our focus to the infinite creativity of the frequencies of Heaven, both audible and visible through Holy Spirit on the Earth, our fearfully and wonderfully made bodies – our DNA – will find peace, rest, love, and healing!)

King David was a man after God’s own heart because he chose to do all of His Heavenly Father’s will (Acts 13:32). The Lord has a remnant on the Earth who are wholeheartedly after our Father’s heart and purposefully intent on choosing to do all of His will.

Holy Spirit has been stirring a shift to come into alignment in the Body of Christ with regard to our families, our circumstances, our communities, and our nation(s). Scriptural evidence for this shift can be found in 1 Samuel 17:45-47, “I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel…that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel…and that all this assembly may know that the Lord does not deliver by sword or by spear; for the battle is the Lord’s and He will give you into our hands,” and in Psalm 23:2-5, “He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.”

The shift: 1) Focusing on the vastness and the goodness of our God. Period (as opposed to focusing on all of the negative opposition coming against us, especially on what the enemy is doing). 2) Resting peacefully in who the Lord is: the battle belongs to Him and He alone will fight on our behalf and do what we cannot when our focus and trust remain on Him, His love for us, and on His infinite power.

Holy Spirit gave me both a sign and a dream to confirm this shift. On a cold sunny drive home from Wisconsin to Minnesota, high up in a 60 foot tree barren from winter, sat a huge eagle. What was he doing? Resting. As he rested, he was watching, listening, and absolutely aware of all of his surroundings for miles, yet he was purposefully resting without movement of any kind. The eagle is symbolic for the prophetic. Our prophetic shift involves being alert, yet intentionally keeping our focus on resting in the finished work of the blood of Christ battling on our behalf, simply because our focus remains intimately on Him alone, rather than on what we should be doing, on what is coming against us, or on what the enemy is doing.

My dream confirmed both the rest and the focus in two parts. In the first part, there were mattresses: a double and a single, where the single pulled out from under the double on the floor, representing the ‘rest’ of three people (Jesus is seated (resting) at the right hand of the Father,  also seated (resting), and through Him, we are seated (resting) in Heavenly places (Roman 8:33-35; Ephesians 2:6). This also represents the hierarchal work of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit moving here on Earth. That night in prayer I was given a new song: “rest in the Father, rest in the Son, rest in Holy Spirit, rest in the Three in One.” As His Body, we are called to rest in the eternal finished work of our Lord via each of their roles in our lives. The second part of the dream confirmed the battle is His, and that as we keep our focus on Him and not on what is coming against us or on what the enemy is doing, He will covertly dismantle all that is coming against us, simply because our focus remains on resting on Him and His infinite power and goodness: just like David. His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9).

Father, this day for such a time as this, I release Your Kingdom come and Your will be done through a Kingdom Body wholeheartedly after Your heart, resting in the finished work of the blood of Jesus Christ and in the power of Holy Spirit on Earth as it is in Heaven! Let the musicians, the artists, the dancers, the poets, the creative writers, the graphic designers, the photographers, the videographers, the producers, the teachers, and every single individual called/assigned to media, the arts and entertainment arenas, and to education, “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness “is covering” the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the Lord will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60:1-3.

I exhort and release you, as those gifted and skilled to influence the generations, to shift your focus to the immenseness, the vastness, the beauty, the wisdom, the understanding, the counsel, the might, the knowledge, the strength and supernatural power, the love, the joy, the peace, the patience, the kindness, the goodness, the faithfulness, the gentleness, and the infinite list of life-giving/creating nouns/verbs/adjectives/adverbs available to express the amazingness of our God and the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. Be His expression – His vessel – of all that He is, and watch Him draw the multitudes of the nations unto Himself through you!
