Releasing Love, Joy, and Peace Into Fear
Woke up this a.m. with the following, “We have nothing to fear but fear itself.” I responded, “Speak Lord, I’m listening.” As I sat on our porch listening to the birds sing, awaiting the sun to burn off the a.m. fog, it began to shower lightly. I proceeded to look up two specific Scriptures pertaining to rain, both of which contained personal promises He has had me decreeing and standing on in this NOW time. As soon as I had received the Word, the rain ceased. What a kiss from Heaven! That’s how intimately personal our Heavenly Father is when we put our absolute trust in ALL that His Son has made available to us.
Then I remembered the line I woke up with concerning fear. Knowing I had heard the famous line before, I looked it up: Franklin D. Roosevelt in his 1932 presidential election campaign address. Interesting. I believe this is a significant spiritual truth I was to share this a.m., in light of all that is manifesting in our nation in this season – in light of where we have been, and in light of where we are headed. At the root – at the core – is fear. Father’s perfect love in Christ casts out ALL fear. 1 John 4:18, “There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].”
Today, I release an abundantly multiplied revelation of Father’s lovingkindness to a groaning nation and the multitude of diverse and uniquely gifted individuals who comprise it. I release an encounter with the One who IS the perfect love that casts out ALL fear in this NOW time. Releasing His Love, His Joy, and His Peace to prevail over His chosen nations and peoples for such a time as this. Who are His chosen nations? The ones who long to hear His voice and to walk in His ways. Answer the cries of Your sons and daughters, Father, in and through ALL the power of Christ.
