His Presence is NOW
My husband has lived his entire adult life through the lens of “today matters.” It’s was foundational in raising our family. Today is what we’ve been given. Each moment in today is NOW. With regard to our Heavenly Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit, His Presence is NOW. Our today matters and His Presence in our NOW matters. His Kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven IS His Presence in our NOW.
We are living in tumultuous times (Isaiah 60:1-3). If we allow what’s transpiring throughout the nations/in our nation, i.e. division, chaos, entitlement, arrogance, me-centered focus, unfathomable bizarreness, perversion, and evil, 24/7 fear mongering in the headlines and contradictory headlines, we will not endure. However, when we keep our eyes fixed on the Person of Jesus, the love and life He demonstrated, through intimate relationship with His Word and Holy Spirit, everything shifts.
The NOW Focus
The Kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven is righteousness (the righteousness of Christ in us), peace, and joy. It’s His love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. It’s His wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and awe.
It’s “whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise.” It’s Who and what we are to think on and weigh and take account of. We are exhorted to fix our minds on these things; to fix our all on the One who has purchased, demonstrated, and made a way for it to be our NOW. His Presence is NOW!
God-Sized Issues
Holy Spirit has been highlighting in my spirit several God-sized issues that require Yahweh-sized strategies and solutions in our NOW.
1) All of the children currently being rescued from trafficking and horrifically abusive situations: where can they be placed for deep healing from the trauma they endured without being put right back into situations that only propitiate further trauma (foster care situations, educational indoctrination and political agendas, religion (rather than authentic intimate, personal and healing encounters with their Heavenly Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit – His Presence NOW)?
2) All of the adults who have been victims of TBMC, SRA, MKUltra, cults, trafficking, abuse, etc. needing people who know Holy Spirit and have been equipped to walk alongside them through traumatic and extremely difficult healing journeys.
3) All of the elderly currently in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, senior living facilities, dementia centers, cancer centers, hospitals, and/or living alone in their journeys, estranged from family members, have family members who live far away who touch base infrequently, or literally have no family at all.
His Hands and Feet NOW
I know if Jesus were to walk the Earth today, those mentioned above would be the very ones He would reach out to with His Father’s lovingkindness. He would manifest deliverance, healing, and restoration on their behalf. Because Jesus NOW works through His Ecclesia in the power of Holy Spirit and His Word, His solutions manifest through our stewarding Kingdom assignments in yieldedness to His leading.. We are His hands and feet in our NOW!
Yes, there are many who are already being the hands and feet of Jesus for some of these God-sized issues. However, the laborers are few in comparison to the enormity of the issues in this hour. Additionally, the issues continue to increase as time marches on in this current culture. Because the church age did not address these issues nearly enough, numerous barriers and roadblocks are currently in place that hinder the process requiring additional solutions.
Kingdom Blueprints and Strategies
We are majorly in current need of Kingdom blueprints and strategies that supersede man’s striving, kingdom of darkness’ strongholds, roadblocks, and hindrances currently operating through politics, education, medical, religion, laws that have been rewritten, etc. Add to this, the many issues I addressed at the onset of this post. Again, we will not survive the times in which we live with the wrong focus/lens.
We must shift into possessing, i.e. living out, the very things Jesus bestows to us from the Heavenly places where we are seated with Him. When we are in His Presence in our NOW, we are better able to steward His Kingdom assignments with humility, fully surrendered, and in His authority. Kingdom fruit will supersede beyond anything focusing on the issues, problems, circumstances, or what the kingdom of darkness in this realm could ever attain.
Fixed on Jesus
I felt led to share these issues with all those who currently understand and see what’s at play, what’s at stake, and what can only be addressed through an Ecclesia who is fixed on Jesus; fixed on His plans and purposes in this hour. We need His Presence. The world needs His Presence. The meek, the poor, the afflicted, the sick, the lost, the brokenhearted, the needy, the destitute, the captives, those in mourning, the heavily burdened with failing spirits need His Presence. We ALL need His Presence. His Presence is NOW.
Isaiah 61:1-4
Isaiah 61:1-4, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound,
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion—to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit—that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. And they shall rebuild the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former desolations and renew the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.”
A Song and a New Assignment
Holy Spirit gave me a song back in 2011 that expresses the groan of these God-sized problems requiring Yahweh-sized solutions, strategies, and blueprints. His Presence is NOW and manifests in the lyrics (The book/art is available on Amazon – click the link in the title for details).
I will also be heading into the studio to begin recording my next Presence focused album. Holy Spirit gave me the title, the album cover, and the intention. “Here I am, send me, Lord.” Your Presence is NOW!
