November Album Release Coming

When I released my last album, Beyond the Veil album, Holy Spirit told me He had ‘saved the best for last.’ I didn’t know if that meant it was my final recording project or what exactly He was revealing. Having just finished my most recent recording project, Overcoming The Mirage, I understand now Holy Spirit was hinting that each consecutive album was going to continue to be my best. I can honestly say with immense excitement and humility my November Album Release Coming, Overcoming The Mirage, is my best album yet.

A Vision and Dreams

This amazing new November Album Release Coming was birthed in a vision and confirmed in two dreams. One morning after receiving the album title in a vision and researching the Scriptures for the project, I awakened abruptly with what appeared to be an unopened email or text with a dot in front of it and the word MIRAGE (in the color blue of the album cover). I then spent several days searching out the meaning of the word (already being quite aware of the spiritual significance of the color). 

A mirage is an illusion, something false, unattainable, or deceptive that people believe is real. Since my name means ‘palm tree,’ I am called to be His oasis of peace, rest, and healing in the midst of the dry and difficult seasons of this life in the music He creates through me. The concept of a ‘mirage’ was therefore not something foreign to me, i.e palm trees, deserts, oasis, etc.. I have spent decades searching out the prophetic and spiritual meaning and significance for all this pertaining to my Kingdom calling, gifting, and skills. 

Nothing Is As Though It Seems

The word ‘mirage’ describes quite accurately the world in which we currently live. I am frequently prompted with the phrase, “things are not as though they seem.” The prophet Elisha prayed for the Lord to open his servant’s eyes as he was overcome with fear while being surrounded by a massive army of horses and chariots (2 Kings 6:15-17). “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them” (2 Kings 6:16). We are living in these very times. Overcoming The Mirage is specific to this truthful reality at a critical juncture in His Story.

I then had several repetitive and confirming dreams where the underlying meaning was specific to uncovering secrets, hidden motives, buried emotions, something or someone undermining one’s journey. The process involved learning to trust and rely on one’s spiritual senses, inner vision, and Holy Spirit leading over physical appearances. The dream also addressed unseen efforts laying the groundwork for future generations. Nothing is as though it seems. We are living in a time where discernment is absolutely needed to navigate the path of lies and deception inundating us 24/7 in media and social media. 

Companion Devotional In Process

I am currently working on a devotional specific to each track on my new November Album Release Coming, Overcoming The Mirage. Holy Spirit inspired music, the holistic frequencies infused, and the Scriptural intent for each instrumental track provide an atmosphere for seeking, healing, shifting, and activating in this NOW time. 

Overcoming The Mirage also includes one of my only original songs with lyrics and vocals. The song was originally recorded for our one and only family album released in 2008. Our daughter, age 15 at the time of the recording, sang harmonies with me. Holy Spirit prompted me to find the track and include it for such a time as this. Holy Spirit has been enlarging my tent as His worshiper my entire life. It’s His desire for each of us to be His worshipers in Spirit and in Truth as He leads us in Overcoming The Mirage of this hour we have been called to co-labor with Him on Earth as it is in Heaven.
