Dreaming and Birthing Expressions
Back in 2007, Holy Spirit gave me a Habakkuk 2:2-3 defining moment: “And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by. For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.”
The Arts Expressed (see TheArtsExpressed.org for vision details) was born. In a nutshell, The Arts Expressed is a generational equipping center, releasing true identity in Christ and Kingdom purpose, and tools to become skillful at their giftings, whatever they may be. The Arts Expressed specifically and strategically equips expertise in music and the arts. The vision includes using those gifts/skills to impact/transform wherever they are called/placed for the Kingdom of Heaven on the Earth. The Arts Expressed appropriates my teacher gift. The Arts Expressed also includes coffee house worship gatherings, as well as a house of prayer.
In 2012, Holy Spirit gave me another Habakkuk 2 defining moment through the journey of our youngest son’s kidney failure/transplant. Sound Expressions (visit this site for vision details) was born. I studied to show myself approved in sound & healing therapy, and have since released five sound & healing therapy CDs, with another scheduled in July. I currently work with sound & healing therapy clients, providing natural alternatives to physical, emotional, spiritual and mental areas needing restoration. Sound Expressions is where my psalming, i.e. intimate knowledge of Scripture, music, science, Holy Spirit leading, and prophetic gifting converge. Through Sound Expressions, the fullness of who I am in Christ is released through my musical skill as Holy Spirit’s accompanist on behalf of others.
There is a renewed stirring within me to establish a center where both of these visions merge: The Arts Expressed and Sound Expressions. I got it loudly in my spirit the other day that I don’t dream big enough. Therefore, I am dreaming of birthing a huge equipping/sound & healing center on behalf of the generations AND on behalf of those needing of healing physically, spiritually, emotionally, and/or mentally. We know that the geographic region I am currently in does not support this vision. However, I know if my Creator is dreaming it through me, He will give wings to cause it to manifest on the Earth in the land where we are to be celebrated. I am also not sure that this dream is confined to any one place, but rather, that it is transportable. Excited about the present path I am NOW on. Expecting the necessary connections and divine appointments that will make the vision a reality suddenly!
