If YOU Build It
December always ushers in a month of reflection pertaining to the past year. The reflection is also specific to seeking vision for the new year ahead. A few weeks ago, I was pressing into the Lord’s heart while listening to a message. Instantly, I heard in my spirit, “If YOU build it, Lord, I will come.” We oftentimes hear the phrase in ministry, “If you build it (meaning us), He will come.” This response was guttural and clearly, “If YOU build it, Lord, I will come.” Intense appeal arose from within, a deep unto deep groaning in my spirit, not only for myself, but for this generation, and for the nations in this kairos time.
I have previously experienced that deep unto deep ‘hearing’ numerous times throughout my decades of walking with the Lord. Once I hear them, I never forget. They are eternally etched. (My journals testify.) Therefore, when I ‘heard’, “If YOU build it, Lord, I will come,” the intensity aligned with previous strategic seasons of urgency and timing not to be missed. Shortly after, my husband began waking up with the song, “If the Lord Builds the House” by Hope Darst. He wasn’t even sure why he knew the song, but it kept playing on repeat in his spirit upon waking and while driving to work for several weeks. Psalm 127 has been specifically interjected into most of my books, curriculums, etc.. It was a foundational Scripture throughout our raising family years.

“If God’s grace doesn’t help the builders, they will labor in vain to build a house. If God’s mercy doesn’t protect the city, all the sentries will circle it in vain. It really is senseless to work so hard from early morning till late at night, toiling to make a living for fear of not having enough. God can provide for His devoted lovers even while they sleep! Children are God’s love gift; they are Heaven’s generous reward. Children born to a young couple will one day rise to protect and provide for their parents. Happy will be the couple who has many of them! A household full of children will not bring shame on your name but victory when you face your enemies, for your offspring will have influence and honor to prevail on your behalf!“
WHY HERE?
When the Lord moved us to our current location, I repeatedly inquired as to “Why here, Lord?” One day I clearly heard back via a detailed conversation. In a nutshell, the ‘why’: “to announce that Jesus is in the land!” I have been pondering the extent, the depth, and the specifics of that directive for two years now. The stirring I have in my spirit is the same stirring anyone fervently seeking first His Kingdom and His righteousness in this hour is hearing and sensing.
It’s the same poignant and clear focus I have emphasized all along in working with sound therapy clients and their search for healing, as well as in all of my instrumental recording assignments. It’s only ever been about His Presence! His Presence alone heals. His Presence alone offers us the peace and everything else everyone is so desperately longing for in a world inundated with chaos, pain, and strife. Jesus has always been the Only Solution to all of Earth’s problems.
God’s Favorite House
“If YOU build it, Lord, I will come” is a longing in my spirit to be His vessel of hosting His Presence; of His glory rising and shining in the midst of the deep darkness covering the Earth (Isaiah 60:1-3). Every home should be focused on His heart and His will in this, especially during a season (both on Earth’s calendar and on our Heavenly Father’s), where Jesus should be and is absolutely the One and only focus.
This journey for me began way back in the 90’s with Tommy Tenney’s, God’s Favorite House (since revised/updated). From there it progressed to Amos 9:11, “In that day I shall raise up and restore the fallen tabernacle (booth) of David, and wall up its breaches [in the city walls]; I will also raise up and restore its ruins and rebuild it as it was in the days of old…” and Matthew 21:13, “Jesus said to them, ‘It is written [in Scripture], ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer”/IHOP, KC.
It continued to beckon with Jeremiah Johnson’s, Houses of Glory and so many more apostolic and prophetic voices and revelation. Most recently, it’s been Tammie Southerland’s Wordless Prayer and Permission To Burn, and Emily and Addelyne Power’s, December 2024 Release of Merry Maranatha. Yes, the Word, along with Spirit and Truth worship, have been foundational all throughout the journey.
His Presence
At this juncture, if Holy Spirit’s Presence isn’t the wholehearted focus, there is absolutely no point. It’s all futility. Its empty vain conceit constructed of man made empires. I highly encourage you to get yourself a copy of Merry Maranatha: 31 Days To Loving The Lord’s Appearing! It’s a revelatory, strategic, and intimate focus for this kairos season, and for the path we are heading toward. Every single individual on the Earth is searching and longing for who and what the Lord alone can be and satisfy. If the previous season of loss, grief, confusion, bizarreness on every level of society, division, perversion, anger, chaos, fear, and on and on (the inundation of continuous lower resonating frequencies) has taught us anything, it’s that this brief thing called ‘life’ is absolutely empty and fruitless apart from the Presence of the Lord.
Intimacy with our Lord, King, and Bridegroom, with our Heavenly Father, and with Holy Spirit overflows abundantly with Heaven’s highest resonating frequencies: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control, wisdom, understanding, counsel, knowledge (intimacy with Him), and awe of the Him. He IS the “whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]” (Philippians 4:8).
At A Crossroads
Humanity, especially the people who know their God and long to do the mighty exploits Daniel talks about in Daniel 11:32, find ourselves once again, at the juncture Moses found Himself in Exodus 33:15-16, “And Moses said to Him, “If Your presence does not go [with me], do not lead us up from here. For how then can it be known that Your people and I have found favor in Your sight? Is it not by Your going with us, so that we are distinguished, Your people and I, from all the [other] people on the face of the earth?”
Once again we hear a resounding, “From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” This time, “Come up here…” (Revelation 4:1) rings a clarion call in conjunction with His beckoning. “So this I say, and solemnly affirm together with the Lord [as in His presence], that you must no longer live as the [unbelieving] Gentiles live, in the futility of their minds [and in the foolishness and emptiness of their souls]…” (Ephesians 4:17).
All In
The church for far too long has wanted to have its cake and eat it too. Far too many have been sitting on the fence with one foot in the world and one foot in their man made version of Christianity, never noticing Satan owns the very fence they are sitting on and has continued to move it far beyond anything remotely connected to Jesus. Deception has had its way.
It’s time for the Body of Christ to be all in; to realize this whole invitation…this whole adventure…is about our King and His Kingdom. It’s never been about the church or a religion. It has always been about our Heavenly Father’s love for His Son, His Son’s love for His Heavenly Father, and that love for ALL mankind…for His love to be IN us flowing through us for ourselves and for others. (See 1 Corinthians 13.)
The journey has always been about His tangible manifest Presence living within us 24/7, on Earth as it is in Heaven. He is looking for a people who are longing to BE His vessels of connecting His Presence here on Earth as it is in Heaven. He is looking for His sons and daughters…for His Bride…for those whose heart posture is, “If YOU build it, Father…if YOU build is Jesus…if YOU build it Holy Spirit, I’ll come.” “He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches.” (Revelation 3:22).
The Christmas Gift
Every December, since December 16, 2007, when this prophetic word was received in children’s church through a ten year old boy named Danny, I have reshared and decreed it. This December, 2024, I am again sharing, decreeing, and standing in faith for this word to manifest here on Earth as it is in Heaven – for our homes to literally be flooded with the glory of the One who alone is worthy of all honor, praise, worship, and glory!
