Power Love and Sound Minds

Living in a time of overwhelming and inundating lies, deception, fear and anxiety, we desperately need power, love, and sound minds to navigate living in this hour. We are being engulfed relentlessly via the media, social media, education, government, national and global events, etc. with negativity, bad news, and worse news. The result is increasing mental illness, emotional trauma, physical illness, and spiritual confusion. The issues are very real.

His Instructions

Isaiah 60:2-4a tells us, “Look carefully! Darkness blankets the earth, and thick clouds covers the nations, but Yahweh arises upon you and the brightness of his glory appears over you! Nations will be attracted to your radiant light and kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day. Lift up your eyes higher! Look all around you and believe…” He opens this very directive with, “Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh’s glory now streams from you!” I want to highlight that is states His glory NOW streams FROM you!

In John 16:33, Jesus says, “And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in Me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” John 16:33 TPT

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” John 16:33 AMPC

Follow Him

There is nothing in either of the two passages I shared, in addition to numerous others, that instructs us to focus on what the enemy is doing. The end result of that focus is living in a perpetual state of anxiety, fear, and worry that leads to mental, emotional, and physical deterioration. We either believe what the Word says, or we don’t.

For far too long, presenting the Gospel has been presented as fear of eternal damnation. We have drilled the theme of repentance, but not presented it as a ‘change in thinking or lifestyle’, but rather, as a shaming, condemning, guilt-ridden position we are required to remain in if we want to go to Heaven at the end of this journey. I’m pretty sure Jesus said it once, and then the directive was to follow Him. His words were about change in the way we do this life. He fully demonstrated His intent in that.

Restoring Sonship Identity and Position

Over the past season in His Story, Holy Spirit has been restoring sonship identity and position based on the finished work of Christ. In order to walk through the trials, tribulations, and the battle of the ages at hand, we must first be rooted and grounded in our Heavenly Father’s love for us…for ALL. Jesus walked out the demonstration of that love. When we have intimacy with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, knowing each one in their Heavenly, yet so intimately personal roles on behalf of every individual, the entire picture changes.

We walk out the battles at hand with the mind of Christ (with power love and sound minds). We press through the trials and tribulations with the eyes of Christ, the ears of Christ, the Words of Christ, and the actions of Christ on Earth as it is in Heaven (power love and sound minds), over and above what we see and hear in this natural realm with our natural eyes and ears. Everything changes when we truly get how immeasurably and infinitely we are loved, restored, and empowered by the One who holds it all together. Yeshua is the One who made a way for the restoration of all mankind, the heavens, and the earth. 

The Shift: Power Love and Sound Minds

This shift is significant and necessary in the NOW. There are multitudes of people needing to make this shift; longing to make this shift. They need mature sons and daughters to come alongside them in discipleship through Holy Spirit Presence in the NOW. This isn’t a check in and out reality for when we need Him or when we’re feeling religious.

This is a deep, deep longing fulfilled in every heart in every moment when we press in to know Him. We need to know that we know He will never leave us or forsake. We intimately know He has not left us as orphans to blindly stumble our way through this increasing clashing of the kingdoms. We can be confident He did not leave us on our own to navigate the fear, the anxiety, the trauma, the betrayal, the grief, the loss, the confusion, the lack, the pain alone, ideologically, or idealistically. His delivering, healing, redeeming, loving, peaceful, and so much more Presence is tangible and available 24/7.

My Kingdom Assignment

Back in the mid-2000’s in the midst of intercessory prophetic worship and prayer, I clearly heard Holy Spirit instruct me not to focus on what the enemy is doing as intercessors often do. He succinctly told me not to focus on the darkness, but rather, focus on His light. I knew from that moment on my calling as His Psalmist was to release Heaven’s higher resonating frequencies in my music and through my words, whether sung, as intercession or as teaching. 

Having incurred years of having to overcome in numerous areas, I intimately know the intense battle for heart healing and renewing of the mind with His Presence as a lifestyle. His training in my journey also included learning to speak words of life that edify, exhort, encourage, and comfort. This truth is regardless of circumstances or regardless of what transpires in the natural realm in the midst of a culture that perpetuates and prospers on the opposite. 

In light of the times in which we live, Holy Spirit has re-emphasized the need for His calling on my life, focusing even now more so then back when He first gave me the directive. The current battle is dark and real for far too many. This life has been traumatic and tragic for far too many. There are very real, dark demonic agendas manifesting and being exposed in this hour. 

Unique Kingdom Assignments

Yet, absolutely every single individual has their own assignment – their own calling – their own Kingdom piece for this difficult time in which they have been chosen to walk the earth in His Story. We each need to find our section of the orchestra in which to play our unique piece – whom to co-labor alongside – with all eyes on our Conductor. No one individual piece or ministry is more important than anyone else’s piece: it’s simply different…simply unique. What matters most is that each of us is putting our hand to the plow with our assigned piece. Comparison, competing, judging, etc. has utterly no place in His symphony. 

Higher Resonating Frequencies: Power Love and Sound Minds

My piece as His psalmist, now more than ever, is to release the higher resonating frequencies of the atmosphere of Heaven here on Earth on behalf of individuals needing heart healing and restoration, mind renewal, and healing in their physical bodies. Multitudes are majorly being impacted by adverse emotions, fear, and destructive thinking. The entirety of their being, especially their spirits, can only be healed through the Presence of the One who IS Healer. Our Healer endured His own tremendous trauma, rejection, betrayal, mocking, and physical torture on a level we cannot remotely even fathom. He willingly walked through it all to purchase the healing that multitudes are seeking in the midst of the deep darkness covering the earth. 

Converging Power Love and Sound Minds

We have never been this way before. The path we are currently traveling has not been forged before. This juncture requires possessing our identity in Christ as sons and daughters with power love and sound minds. Jesus has rooted and grounded us in the infinite love of the Father for the Son, the Son for the Father, and that love for ALL mankind. He came to save ALL. Learning to living as spiritual beings in these physical bodies where ‘no weapon formed against us will prosper’ is the juncture we are at. It’s always been the plan, but it’s now accelerating and has arrived at a convergence.
