HOW’D WE GET HERE?

How’d we get here? I am a prophetic psalmist. I am also a forerunner…a pioneer. I have known my specific calling since about 2001, even though I have been writing songs for/to/about Jesus since 1973. I am also one whose voice has been repeatedly silenced except where Holy Spirit has led me in recording holistic frequency infused Holy Spirit led spontaneous instrumental music (a unique mouthful!). 

I woke up today with a prompting to revisit two of the songs Holy Spirit has downloaded through me in answering the question, “How’d we get here?”. 2026 will begin in the studio recording an album of songs I have written over the years but never released. It’s time. I realize today many of my songs were prophetic cries and intercessory decrees over the years specific to these very times in which we are now living. I wrote this first example in 2007.

How’d We Get Here? Broken Children of All Ages

This second example was written in 2007 as well. When writing this song, the intention was thought to be more specific to children in need, foster children, children in orphanages, children in abusive situations. However, today, in answering the question, “How’d we get here?”, I absolutely believe it’s specific to all of the broken, traumatized children walking around in adult bodies, unhealed from all the trauma, offense, heartbreak, disappointment, abuse, church hurt, loneliness, etc. that has come against them since they were children. There are multitudes stuck in this identity of brokenness. I know this personally, as I have encountered numerous individuals in my journey as a sound therapist over the years. I, too, have had to walk through a healing process that continues even today. We all do for a multitude of varying reasons and circumstances. We live in a broken world.

A Critical Hour in His-Story

We are living in a truly critical hour in His-story…a major critical juncture as a nation. The only answer forward is through the only One who IS love. How’d we get here?: hate, anger, violence, insisting on our own way, living for self and self indulgence, stress, anxiety, fear, brokenness, divisiveness, where good is called evil and evil is called good, etc. (all low resonating frequencies with regard to health, wellness, and wholeness, contributing additionally to a massive dis-ease crisis in our nation).

We need a realignment…an re-awakening to living in righteousness, peace, and joy. There is only One path to those attributes…to those states of being…to those highest of resonating frequencies that manifest health and wellness: body, mind, soul, and spirit

That path is through the One who IS love. Love is the most powerful and greatest need of every human being, regardless of age, gender, or ethnicity. The One who IS love has been gravely misrepresented throughout His-story. This misrepresentation is additionally responsible for multitudes walking around with church hurt, as prodigals with an orphan spirit. Orphan spirits profoundly need encounters with the Healer, i.e. with the only One who IS authentic love…with the only One who can heal individuals body, mind, soul, and spirit…with the One who exchanges, reconciles, redeems, repairs, and restores us to our loving Heavenly Father through a spirit of Sonship. He restores/reconciles us to Heaven’s original and immeasurable plans/purposes for such a time as this!

Intention

The intention behind my instrumental recordings has always been about this for each individual searching…seeking what and who He alone can be on their behalf. He is the great Comforter. He is the only One who guides and leads us into all Truth. He is the ultimate Healer.

I am currently in the studio recording a new album assignment (prior to recording my original songs scheduled for 2026). In a time of crisis – a time such as we find ourselves currently experiencing. Many are asking, “How’d we get here? Healing is a paramount need on a massive scale! Silencing the messengers – silencing individual voices in this hour will never be the solution. Silence will never heal orphan spirits…broken hearts…lost souls…

The voice I have been given is through instrumental frequency infused Scriptural assignments/intention. I suspect that is why I have 50 albums and continue to receive specific recording assignments for the purpose of releasing Heaven’s atmosphere on Earth. Nate Johnston recently released a prophetic word that significantly applies to my personal journey. Perhaps it does to yours as well!

How’d we get here? “The cost can be injustice and feeling unseen and your heart trampled upon. It can be walking through warfare others don’t face because they have chosen comfort. And that’s what makes you begin to become weary…But we can’t stay there. It’s time to get back up, pioneers. There’s so much ahead for you. There’s a generation waiting for you to call them home to Jesus. There’s a father/mother heart in you, anointed to break the orphan spirit over the land. Your obedience to keep going is pushing back the darkness more than you know. So don’t quit.Your prayers matter—your message matters. Your voice matters. So don’t let it get buried over by the grief and weariness of the past.”

Get To Where We’re Called To Be

For all who have ears to hear, I will be interceding on your behalf with my voice…through my instrument…for the purpose of empowering you to encounter the One who can restore ALL you need Him to restore. We all need to get from where we are to where we have been called to be…to where we need to be!
